Hot bread knife cover slides over the blade to protect the serrations from damage when stored in a draw with other cutlery. Can also be used to cover the blade if selling to make sure customers don't cut themselves. In this case place a bit of tape around the cover on both ends of the blade to secure it. This can easily be removed later. Cover is made of soft "U" shaped plastic that can be easily cleaned when required.
